We've got a few more days in NYC, and I'm not going to lie - I cannot wait to be back home. Manhattan is probably one of my least favorite places in the world. Lower than Cleveland, even. Is that possible? Apparently. But, I did get to cross 'spend XMAS at the Waldorf' off of my bucket list. And I had a pretty rad raw taco at FreeFoods. Which lead me to the conclusion that I need to buy an Excalibur dehydrator sometime in the near future. Like, as soon as I get home.
My dad's partner is from NY. She hates Manhattan too.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have been eyeing a dehydrator for SO long. I'm weeping inside after clicking that link. I really am.
I was kind of hoping to buy one for Christmas, but that's not happening. Instead I decided to spend a buttload on presents for other people.. and for a lady to chop all of my hair off.
Silly me!
Hope you had a good Christmas though :)
Gorgeous pics!! I am about 30 mins from the city and I rarely ever go in. I definitely have to be in the mood. People tell me I'm lucky all the time but I think that I'm just not a city girl, so i totally get it.
ReplyDeleteThe dehydrator is awesome but I have my eye on a Vitamix. That will be the most glorious day in my life!
I love visiting NYC solely for the food available. I don't know how people live there. It would drive me mad.
ReplyDeleteoh i wish i had known you were in the city, it would have been great to meet you!
